First of all, thank you to everyone's comments! They were very helpful. I looked into the cost of a professional to do it, and it was out of our reach. I instead had a talk with my supervisors and they agreed that I could bring Belle to work with me so long as she had her shots, didn't have fleas, wouldn't bite the clients, etc. I took to her to work last weekend and we made amazing progress. She now will scratch at the door and whine (though very quietly), or, if she is next to me, will poke at me to tell me she has to go. I'm taking her again this weekend (and maybe next-not sure how long they will let me keep it up) to try to solidify what we've done. She hasn't had any accidents in the house this week.
I am so relieved, and so thankful my supervisors would let me bring her. If I had any other job, I would not have been able to do it.
Now to make sure it stays this way. =]
