My cat fat-boy Prince (pictured on the right) passed away pretty suddenly a few weeks ago. Long story short - he was diagnosed as having a thyroid disease, reacted negatively to the thyroid medication, went into acute liver failure and passed away. Since he died, his partner in crime, and my other son, Buster has been lost. He screams at me constantly during the night (and it breaks my heart). What is upsetting me the most though, is that over the past few days, Buster has been finding articles of clothing of mine and peeing on them. Could he possibly be rebelling? I ask this because I know he still uses the litter box, and it is has only been this way since Prince passed.

**He is diabetic, but takes his insulin every day, so I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Like humans, animals can grieve for the loss of a loved one and can become depressed. Sometimes spending more time with your pet can help but you may want to talk to an animal behaviorist.
