i have a toy poodle that will be 8 years old this July and he has recently started losing the ability to use his hind legs, now this has happened only twice so i just thought it was part of old age and maybe a touch of arthritis, but just this morning at 6a.m. to be exact he lost use of all 4 of his legs and slowly, over the course of more than an hour, regained enough to walk but is still extremely unsteady. do anyone have any idea of what this may be? I'm taking him to the vet on Monday as soon as they are open. would appreciate any ideas. thanks.

P.S. he also seems to be favoring his right side as it appears to be the weakeast

I'm so sorry to hear your little guy is having a hard time. I hope everything turns out well. Please let us know how he's doing.
