Hi, my name is Aimee. I am new to the site and I have two dogs. The reason I came here however, is because my 4 year old female cockapoo has an ear infection. I can not get her to the vet until the end of the week due to doctors appointments of my own. I took her temperature by putting the digital thermomeater under her arm and holding it down like one would do for a child. Please don't suggest doing it the other way. I can't do that! Anyway her temperature is 99.5. I have been giving her half a children's Benedryl (okayed by the doctor for her allergies but, im sure that will help figh infection.) I am also giving her some left over medication from her last ear infection. It has improved a little since yesterday but, I am still worried that I have to wait a few days before getting her to a vet. I guess I want to ask, am I doing the right things? Will she most likley be okay for the next few days? Is there anything else I can do for her until she goes to the appointment? - Worried
