I just ran out of food for my chinchilla Marty.This doesn't happen often.But i can't go and get some more Chinchilla food until later on today.I have some leftover "bonanza" Hamster food from my hamster Munchkin(R.I.P).would it be ok for my chinchilla to eat that just until i go to petsmart later today?

Chinchillas need more fiber than hamsters. Perhaps you could provide some Timothy hay or bits of apple and carrot until you get to the store?
P.S. Sorry about your hamster.
thanks!!I was able to go to the store shortly after i posted this,but if i ever run out again i will definitly give him some aplles or carrots and hay if we have any hay.:)
