Question:
I have two fantail goldfish in a 10 gallon tank and am going to move them to their new home a 36 gallon tank. My question is how long should I wait until I can put my fish in the new aquarium?
Answer:

Let your new tank run for at least one day before adding your new fish. An aquarium can take 4-6 weeks for the first cycle to complete so be sure to do frequent tests of pH, ammonia and nitrate.
