Question:
We adopted a kitten from the SPCA and brought him home yesterday. He's 3 1/2 months old brown tabby. He was neutered on Monday and the incision looks good, not red or swollen or anything. His eyes are bright, he loves to play and snuggle, his coat is shiny, he is full of energy and has an excellent appetite. He does not have any symptoms of having worms and his excrement is normal. My only concern is that he seems to be drinking a lot (or at his water bowl a lot). Should I be concerned or am I just overreacting? (We feed him wet and dry food, but the dry food is more readily available during the day and the wet is reserved for meal times.)
Answer:

I recommend mentioning the increase in water consumption to your veterinarian.
