Saluki

They get along well with other dogs, but they're sometimes aggressive with cats and rabbits. Salukis are sometimes hard to housebreak. Professional obedience training is highly recommended.

Personality: 
The Saluki is dignified, intelligent and independent. He is also quiet, gentle and even-tempered. Although he has a deep affection for his humans, he is not demonstrative about it. Generally aloof toward strangers, he may be somewhat shy and needs plenty of socialization to be comfortable around different people and situations.

Pharaoh Hound

Pharaoh Hounds are playful, lovable and athletic. They're great jumpers that need lots of running exercise. Pharaohs are suspicious of strangers, and sometimes aggressive toward small animals. Some breeders say this breed blushes when it's excited --i ts nose, ears and eyes turn pink.

The Plott also has a sense of humor, relishing games and play on the trail and at home.

Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen

The PBGV is eager to please but does have an independent streak - some say that he has more of a "terrier-like" quality than a typical scenthound. He relishes time spent outdoors and with his family.

Otterhound

Irish Wolfhound
