She's so tiny, half the time I can't find her. Here's my problem...I work 3-11 and am having a hard time keeping things consistant- which I've read is very important. She's been having accidents all over the apartment, even though I have potty pads laid out, sprays to clean them up, and sprays to help attract her to the pads. It's been very rainy lately, but when it stops, I do try and take her outside.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/1st-time-dog-owner-please-help#comments Behavior and Training Thu, 28 Apr 2011 04:31:46 +0000 yorkie_nurse 189962 at http://mypetsmart.com Choosing a training class? http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/choosing-a-training-class
I have a young aussie puppy who already knows sit and lie down (learned it in a day) now we just need to learn stay and come. However I would like to sign up for a petsmart training class but don't know what class to choose, since she knows most of whats in puppy ed and beginner. I was thinking about intermediate but she's only 11 weeks old. However 'I don't want to shell out $109 for a 6 week class where she knows half of it already. I don't have alot of money to take all the classes and my pup learns really quick.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/choosing-a-training-class#comments Behavior and Training Mon, 14 Mar 2011 23:38:56 +0000 KSuzieQ6 185244 at http://mypetsmart.com tearing up couch and chairs and anything in sight http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/tearing-up-couch-and-chairs-and-anything-in-sigh
We just got a 4 yr old Boston Terrier that was caged and not fixed, the owner negelected to tell us why his wife didn't want the dog in the house, well I think we found out why.Torn holes in chair cushions, couch cushions, tore up the mop, tore bedspread, sexually attacks the cushions,HELP.Will having the dog fixed cure him of the biting the cushions and rambunchious behavior, don't want to spend a lot of money on him and still have the wild behavior.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/tearing-up-couch-and-chairs-and-anything-in-sigh#comments Behavior and Training Thu, 03 Mar 2011 13:28:57 +0000 wvbluis 184325 at http://mypetsmart.com Potty Time! http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/potty-time
I have to babies, both dogs. My 11 month old male Pug and my 9 month old female Boston Terrier. I just got my female from a breeder and she is not potty trained.(I've had her for at least two weeks and she is also in training classes at PetSmart) I am still in shock that she was never potty trained. But I guess I understand since she lived on a farm. Well I am in an apartment on the second floor and I have a large grassy areas around my apartment where the dogs are welcome to "go". There are even potty bags stations to promote clean up.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/potty-time#comments Behavior and Training Wed, 02 Mar 2011 21:25:30 +0000 Octocookie 184281 at http://mypetsmart.com New Dog Owner http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/new-dog-owner
I adopted a 1-year-old Border Collie mix recently. She is housebroken and stays in a crate while I am at work; however, when I'm home she's out free in the house. If I turn my back on her for a minute, even just to go to the bathroom, she finds something to get into--she'll pull the trash out of my office trash can, she'll get in the litter box and eat the cat litter, etc. I've tried to tell her no firmly when I catch her doing this, but usually by the time I get out of the bathroom or back from getting the mail, she's already shredded some papers and has moved on to doing something else.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/new-dog-owner#comments Behavior and Training Fri, 04 Feb 2011 03:21:55 +0000 EEDevore 182041 at http://mypetsmart.com Socializing Locally http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/cats/behavior-training/socializing-locally

Balios.jpg

DSCF3099.JPG

Savannah Ga
I have a new 8wk old puppy that I want to meet other like minded ppl and pets to let the puppies play and be social in the Savannah Metro area maybe downtown or at the parks
he is going to be a large dog
( cane Corso Italiano , Italian Mastiff)
but for now he is very small and I want him to stay friendly , so give us a yell

WHY IS THERE NO SOCIALIZING SUBJECT
UNDER DOGS , BUT THERE IS FOR THE REST ?
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/cats/behavior-training/socializing-locally#comments Behavior and Training Wed, 05 Jan 2011 05:35:06 +0000 savannahjbo 179745 at http://mypetsmart.com Wont stop digging http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/wont-stop-digging
I have a female great dane, that is a little over a year old. she is already house trained and a great dog. but when she is let out in her pin for any amount of time, she has started digging and i cant seem to get her to stop.. any suggestions!!! -stella moma
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/wont-stop-digging#comments Behavior and Training Mon, 03 Jan 2011 01:16:25 +0000 dafurniss 179601 at http://mypetsmart.com new puppy http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/dogs/behavior-and-training/new-puppy
My new puppy whines and yelps anytime someone is not holding him. I had to go to the store so I crated him in his own cage while my other two were in their own cages. I found out when I got back home that my new boy barked the whole hour I was gone. My other two are quiet up until I pull in the driveway. Then they bark because they hear me and are happy I am home. How do I stop the 1 yr. old from barking while I am gone. I did forget to turn of the radio for them as I usually did when I only had the two. This is the first time I have left him alone since I got him. Just a little information on him.
http://mypetsmart.com/community/message-boards/bird/behavior-training/barking-while-i-go-to-the-store#comments Behavior and Training Wed, 17 Nov 2010 18:55:27 +0000 Mini Mom 177742 at http://mypetsmart.com Found a puppy and having a HARD time with Potty Training!
