i am very interested in becoming a proffessional groomer. Does anyone have any advise on how to started? Where to get training? and how to get a degree/certified?
What if your puppy doesnt like being brushed?
When I try to brush my puppy, he tries to play with the brush. I don't know if this means he likes being brushed or not but I think it's best to do it when he's calm. What should I do to make my puppy adjust to being brushed daily? (He's a yorkie pom) I really appreciate it if you can help!

My 1st Trip to PetSmart Grooming on Aero Drive
When I came in to drop my dog off, two employees were busy chatting (one was grooming a dog while the other was just standing there talking to him). The employee who came up to help me, Jackie, was friendly and I liked her. The entire time she was checking us in (my first time here), the two employees were busily chatting away. Then the male employee who was grooming the dog (who seemed dreadfully scared and was shaking like a leaf), suddenly shook the dog and yelled at the dog "knock it off!" I was shocked!

EAR PROBLEMS...
I have a 2yr old female bloodhound. She gets lots of yeast infections in her ears. About 6 per year. Costing $150 dollars everytime for medication. Does anyone know a good ear cleaner?
scratching
someone please help, my dog scratches all the time. I've baithed her in dog shampoo with oatmeal, and she doesn't have fleas, i've checked her all over, but she still digs all the time, and she bites her nails , any suggestion?
itching and licking
I have a 4 year old male Chihuahua who has been having "fits" of licking and scratching. I recently had him groomed-NO FLEAS or TICKS. However I have found 3 little black bugs on him that are not ticks. Anyway he itches and scrathes ALOT. I have checked him over several times and I do not find any bugs, bumps, or leasions. Help!!!!!
Haircut for my belgian tervuren Vixen?
Do you guys think that she would look weird if I had her shaved for next summer not right now cause its almost winter but when summertime rolls around again I was thinking it might help keep her cool while she is outside but i dont want her to look bad you know? Any Suggestions?
Chihuahua and flead/tick collars
I am a new owner of a small 6 month old Chihuahua. I purchased a flea and tick collar for my dog but someone told me that my baby, Jackie, is to small, young and doesnt need a flea/tick collar. i feel this information is wrong but she does own like 6 Chihuahuas. what should i do?
